Words....
...., what they are and how they are used is relative to so many things. They seemed to be as varied as are the cultures that they arose out of. Sometimes their use can be likened to "touching the same thing but in different places". Words, like names, seem to be nothing more than "titles" given by someone, somewhere at sometime, to identify, delineate, one thing, person, aspect, experience, etc., from another. As we inaugurate this blog with this post, we are actually keenly aware that each word that we and others will use as expression of thought or feeling are going to be relative to each others experience of "life as we have come to know it" thus far. This is an invitation to share "that" life, without the need of trying to explain it, and hopefully in the sharing, discover some commonality that can only be acknowledged at a more basic and profound level of consciousness. Much, if not most, of what we understand to be our life experience defies logic; makes no sense. Wouldn't most of us agree that regardless of our decisions and or actions, desired consequences/outcomes are rarely as we anticipated and we are most easily given to blaming someone for that? Doesn't it seem that anguishing over that and then looking for a "better" way seems to trap us in an ongoing, never-ending process that places us either in a continual retrospective or prospective mode? Wouldn't we all acknowledge that we are all eclectic, a compilation of so many different influences, some chosen, some not, but predominately from our interaction with other lives which really are not so different from our own? Questions, questions, questions. My love and I are beginning to realize that we love them and appreciate them and those who ask them far more than all of the "answers" that we can all cough up at a moment's notice; answers that we most likely got from someone else who got them from someone else who....well, you get the picture. We are delighted to be surrounded by a few others, some of them our adult children (recipients of all of our answers) whom, like us, are drawn more to the questions than the answers. Is it possible to know life as spirit beings in human form with only the relational need we have for each other and all of the rest of life and without the need to have everything else go "our" way or be explained rationally if it doesn't? Is it? Something deep within seems to be drawing us back, and at the same time, forward, into that knowing; maybe even "singing us to it" via the melody of love. So here's to what we hope to further discover in the sharing of some magnificent universal dance we all may well come to KNOW as life! Maestro.....please.
